Mai Chau - Ninh Binh - Halong bay 5 days
Itinerary
Day 1 (L,D): Hanoi - Mai Chau, homestay
8am - Depart from Hanoi by private vehicle to Mai Chau Village. Enjoy lunch in a local house. In the afternoon, walk through villages for 2 hours. Dinner and home stay in the stilt house with the friendly Thai ethnic people.Day 2 (B,L,D): Mai Chau - Cuc Phuong national park
Have breakfast then drive for 3 hours to Cuc Phuong national park in Ninh Binh Province. Visit the Primate Rescue Center. Check in Guest house in the park. Lunch. After lunch drive inside the park to do trekking 6km through the rain forest. Back to the guest house. Free time at night.Day 3 (B,L,D): Cuc Phuong - Hoa Lu and Tam Coc
After breakfast at the guest house, drive an hour to Hoa Lu Ancient capital. After visiting two famous temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties in Hoa Lu, we do biking 12km to Tam Coc. Check in your hotel in Tam Coc. Have lunch. After Lunch take 2-hour boat trip by sampan boat to see "Halong bay inland".Relax and overnight in Tam Coc.
Day 4 (B,L,D): Tam Coc - Halong bay, Overnight on the Junk
After breakfast at the hotel in Tam Coc, drive 170km to Halong city. Arrive at arround 12:00.12.00: Boarding Sea Wind Cruise. Welcome drink is served.
12.30: Lunch is served while cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay till 14:30. Roam around the labyrinth of the Bay through the Bai tho Moutain, Oan Mountain, Studio of famous movie "Indochina", Am Moutain (teapot), Dragon Moutain, Chuong Moutain and many other beautiful smaill islands.
14.30: Arrive at Vong Vieng fishing village, there will be taken one of 2 option:
- discover the village by bamboo rowing boat with visiting the communal house of the village, fish breeding farm, pearl breeding farm
- Or kayaking around.
16:30: Heading to Trong Cave
18h00: Anchoring for overnight at Trong cave
19h00: Dinner is served on board
20h00: Enjoy the music at bar or a fishing
Day 5 (B,L,): Halong bay - Hanoi
08.00: Buffet breakfast is served08.30: Tender to visit Sung Sot cave
09.30: Back to Sea Wind Cruise
09.30: Cruising back to Halong wharf and visit Fighting Cock Rocks, Dinh Huong Moutain, Ba Hang floating villages...
10.30: Luggage pulls out. Lunch on boat. Clear all bills.
11.30: Arrive at the pier. Time to say Goodbye.
Drive back to Hanoi.
