Tour Itinerary
DAY 1(L,D): Hanoi - Mai Chau (140km) Home stay. Drive from Hanoi to Mai Chau(3.5hours). Lunch in the village of the Thai people. Afternoon, small walk around the Lac village, dinner, over night in Thai stilt-house.Day 2(B,L,D): Mai Chau - Son La (190km). Breakfast. Drive to Son La. Stop sometimes on the way for photos. Lunch on the way. Afternoon, visit the Son La French Prison and Museum. Dinner and over night in hotel.
Day 3(B,L,D): Son La – Dien Bien Phu. (150km).Leave Son La to Dien Bien Phu. Lunch on the way. Visit Dien Bien Phu battle field, headquarter of general Christian de Caterris, old French tanks and museum of Dien Bien Phu. Dinner and over night in Dien Bien Phu .
Day 4(B,L,D): Dien Bien Phu – Sapa (270km). Drive to Sapa. Lunch in Lai Chau. On the way visit some villages, take pictures. Dinner and over night in hotel in Sapa.
Day 5(B,L,D): Sapa. Trek to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages. The car will pick you up and drive you back to the hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 6 (B,L): Sapa – Hanoi (380km) stop some where you like on the way back. Arrive Hanoi about 5pm.
