Hanoi - Halong bay one day
One full day in the World Heritage site of Halong bay (L)
8am: Leave Hanoi early in the morning, drive 3.5 hours northeast from Hanoi to Halong bay through the Red River Delta with countryside scenery of rice paddies fields, water buffalo, local villages…. before taking a boat trip on the emerald green waters, among the 2,000 spectacular limestone islands, visit one of the many caves in Halong. Sample fresh seafood (vegetarians catered for) on the boat and take a swim in the emerald water of the bay before cruising back to Halong city for transferring back to Hanoi
7.30pm: Trip ends at your hotel.
