3 Days/4 Nights - 2 nights home stay with Giay & Tay families
Itinerary
Night 1: 8.00pm Depart from Hanoi by taxi to Hanoi Railway Station and catch the night train to Lao Cai (soft sleeper with air-conditioning, 4 people/cabin or 2 people/cabin on request)
Arrive in Lao Cai at 5:30 or 6:00am.
Day 1(L,D):
5.30am - Arrive in LaoCai. The bus ride uphill toSapa takes a little over an hour, giving
you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces.
Arrive in Sapa and prepare to start trekking at 10:00am down the
valley. Stop for a picnic lunch, then
continue to Ta Van village to visit Dzay
minority people for a unique home stay experience.
Day 2
(B,L,D):
This
full day of trekking takes you along local paths, up and down
rice terraces and into the villages and homes of the local hill
tribes. Picnic lunch by the stream before
moving on to Ban Ho.
Overnight with
your Tay hill tribe family.
Day 3 (B):
Short trek to
the dirt road for the jeep ride back to Sa Pa. Free afternoon to
explore Sa Pa town, with great shopping in the market.
6.00pm - Bus
departs Sapa for LaoCai (7pm).
8.20pm - Night
train back to Hanoi (soft sleeper
with air conditioning).
5.00am -
Tour ends at Hanoi RailwayStation.
Tour includes:
- Full transportation by private A/C vehicle as tour program indicated.
- A/C 4 berth soft sleeper train (join cabin - wooden cabin)
- Sightseeing fees and permits.
- English or French speaking guide
- All meals as mentioned in program (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner)
- Accommodation as program, based in twin sharing or double (on request)
